Bosch Solution Link 2.2.3 Release Notes

  • Support Added for the 5 Button Smart RF Keyfob
The 5 Button Smart RF Keyfob offers up to 10 customised button functions (functions 6 to 10 are available using button press hold-down). Each button can easily be programmed via Bosch Solution Link Remote Access Software (available under RF Devices section) to Arm, Partially Arm or Disarm Areas, operate Doors, Outputs or Macros.
Housed in a rugged IP67 rated enclosure, the 2-Way RF110 Smart RF Keyfob includes low battery indication and provides visual feedback on button function transmission success.
  • Support Added for Part Mode Arming in Macros
Macro options now include Area Part 1 and Part 2 arming options. This functionality can also be typed using the alphabetic characters 'P' (Area Part 1) and 'Q' (Area Part 2).
Example: P1&Q2 - The Macro Rule will be true when Area 1 is armed in Part 1 Mode and Area 2 is armed in Part 2 Mode.
  • New Interactive RF Receiver Monitoring
Interactive view now supports both Bosch and Smart RF Base Stations on Solution 6000 panels. When monitoring Smart RF Base Station extra information is also available including front and rear case tamper status, LAN voltage, temperature and firmware version. Smart RF Base Station monitoring is only available on Solution 6000 panels with firmware 2.29.00 and above.
  • New Migration Option for Bosch Solution 64 to Bosch Solution 6000 Panels
Bosch
Solution 64
Bosch
Solution 6000
Installers may now migrate Bosch Solution 64 customers to Bosch Solution 6000. This function is useful in reducing programming time for user information on sites containing a high number of users and/or RF Keyfobs and Token IDs. Most panel configuration for Solution 64 is migrated with the exception of some system and hardware device information. Schedules are migrated as TimeZones. The original customer is preserved, with the migrated customer being of type Solution 6000. The migrated customer's name will be suffixed with the text '(Migrated)'.
The migration option is available from the User Summary form pop-up menu.
  • Fix to Checksum Calculation for RF Device IDs
RF Device IDs were previously generating incorrect checksums if the IDs contained characters, ie. 45F2CA904, this has now been fixed.
  • New Door Bell Event Type Added for Outputs
A new output event type called Door Bell (62) has been added to support the Door Bell function on the CP155 External Keypad with S/C Reader. When this event type is used, pressing the Door Bell button on the CP155 Keypad will operate the output and play a door bell sound on all keypads that are assigned to the same area as the CP155 that triggered the door bell function. An output must be programmed for Door Bell for it to function. Panels with firmware V2.28.54 and above are required to use this feature.
  • New Senior Watch Option for Areas
New 'Senior Watch in Minutes' Area option (5) added for Solution 6000 panels.
  • Fix to Remove Trailing Spaces for WiFi-Enabled Keypad SSID
Changing the WiFi-Enabled Keypad SSID will sometimes leave invisible spaces at the end of the SSID, this would make it impossible to connect to the WiFi access point even though the SSIDs appeared the same. This has now been fixed.
  • Fix to Download User RAS PIN
User RAS PIN was not being downloaded for Solution 6000 panels but still being uploaded. Previously, installers would change the User RAS PIN in Bosch Solution Link then download. After uploading Bosch Solution Link would show the the original value stored in the alarm panel. This has now been fixed.
